Welcome
Peru is
an amazing surf destination, with over 2000km of Pacific coastline, and over 60 named surf
spots, many of them some of the world's most premier and uncrowded point breaks.
The best season for large south swells is April-October, with the biggest swells typically
occurring in the mid-Austral winter months of May, June, July, and August. However, do not
be discouraged from traveling here year-round. The souths still get in and many of the
breaks, especially Bayovar and Cabo Blanco in the North are actually better on strong NW
swells that occur in our winter months (October-March).
Peru's extremely mountainous coast is home to
numerous point breaks (some of them among the world's best such as Puerto Chicama,
Pacasmayo, Nonura, and Cabo Blanco in the North, La Herradura, Señoritas and Punta Rocas
to the south of Lima, and powerful rock reef breaks such as Pico Alto (South America's
Mavericks) and Isla San Gallan (a radical island break 254km south of Lima- a freight
train, tubing right with an empty line-up).
Our surf charter offers:
- Airport
pick-up and transfers.
- Rooms
acomdations (Santa Rosa surf camp). All rooms have private bathrooms, hot and cold running
water.
- Daily
transfer to the breaks are included free of charge.
